Read before sign-up
Thank you for choosing our CSA! Our members are what keep our family farm running and we are so grateful for your support. Signing up for our CSA means that you’ve read and agreed to our policies below. It’s critical that we are on the same page – please read all the details. Let us know if you have any questions and we’d be happy to answer them.
🥕 Spring Time Farm 2026 CSA Terms and Conditions
1. Membership Commitment and Shared Risk
When you join our CSA, you make a season-long commitment to support our farm! This means you share in the abundance AND the risks inherent in farming. As experienced farmers with over 25 years of accumulated know-how, we mitigate hardships and weather challenges, but ultimately Mother Nature is the Big Boss. We are excited to be your partners in health and deliciousness, but please note that there are no guarantees in farming regarding the exact quantity or variety of produce.
2. Payment Plans and Financial Commitment
We offer two distinct payment plans to fit your budget. Your financial commitment depends on the plan chosen:
| Policy | 🍎 Installment Payment Plan (4% Savings) | 🥕 Weekly Payment Plan (Full Price) |
| Commitment | Member commits to the full discounted share price for the entire season (29 weeks). | Member commits to the full 29-week season at the Full Subscription Price. Payments are processed only for the weeks a share is received. |
| Payment Schedule | Pay the discounted rate either in full at sign-up or via scheduled installment payments. | Payments are charged weekly to your account. |
| Payment Failure | If an installment fails, the member has five (5) days to resolve the payment. Failure to resolve will result in the suspension of share deliveries until the account is current. | If a weekly charge fails, the member has 48 hours to update payment in order to resolve the missed charge and receive the following week’s share. If two (2) payments remain unresolved, the subscription may be suspended. |
3. Cancellations and Refunds
We genuinely want you to be happy with your membership! Please let us know if you’re having any trouble and we will do our best to make it right.
| Policy | Details |
| Refunds | We generally cannot provide refunds for CSA shares once the season has begun as we have budgeted our whole farming year around a set number of shares. One great option is to have a friend, co-worker, or fellow community member take over your membership. If unforeseen circumstances come up, please contact us immediately + we will suss out the best option. |
| Substitutions | We do not offer any substitutions within shares. If there is something you don’t like, either challenge yourself to “learn-to-love” or gift it—always encouraged! |
4. Vacation Holds and Skipped Weeks
You have two options if you know you’ll be out of town or unable to get your share:
Option 1 (Preferable): Generously offer your share for that week to a friend or neighbor who can pick up in your name and enjoy the fruits of our labor! You are responsible for letting them know our pick-up details and etiquette.
Option 2 (Account Hold): This depends entirely on your chosen payment plan:
| Payment Plan | Skipped Week Policy |
| 🍎 Installment Plan | Farm Credit Issued: For each box placed on hold via your member account (Farmigo), we’ll credit your CSA account 100% of your weekly share price. (This is the only plan that issues credit). |
| 🥕 Weekly Plan | No Charge Issued: For each box placed on hold via your member account (Farmigo), you will not be charged for that week’s share. |
Important Note on Holds: Any holds need to be placed by Sunday at midnight. Shares that are not properly skipped via the member account and are left unclaimed will be donated, and no credit or refund will be issued.
5. Pick-Up Logistics
5.1. Pickup Etiquette: Please observe the pick-up times carefully and be respectful of your site host. We can’t guarantee that you’ll receive your share if you don’t pick up during designated hours, and our hosts may donate leftover shares with our blessing. We’ll let you know your site’s details before the CSA begins. Please notify the farm of any problems with your share within 24 hours after pickup.
5.2. Delivery Fees: Pickup sites in the Seattle area incur a weekly delivery fee (currently $8.00 per week) to cover fuel and delivery costs. On-farm pickup in Everson receives a 5% discount.
6. Communication and Account Management
6.1. Communication: You agree to read the emails we send you for important CSA updates (and our weekly newsletters and recipes). We communicate with our membership via email for weekly pickup reminders/newsletters and recipes. Check your spam filters!
6.2. Farmigo Account: You agree to manage your “Farmigo” account. We use this program to manage shares, allow members to place vacation holds, and facilitate weekly add-ons. We’ll help if you have trouble.
6.3. Online Store: We host an online farm store! During the season, you can add items to your share on a weekly basis, as well as use any Farm Credit earned from skipped weeks (Installment Plan only). Any remaining credit in your account at the end of the season is NOT refunded, so be sure to use it up by the end of the season.
